Pet Smarts

Pet owners are required to respect the property of their neighbors and the Association.  Pets are required to have all required shots and licenses per Village of Orland Park Ordinances.

Homeowners and renters are allowed domestic pets within the Brook Hills West Townhome development.  If someone chooses to own and keep pets within our community, they are responsible to follow the Associations rules, along with those of the Village of Orland Park.

Some of the rules and guidelines are as follows:

• All dogs must be on a leash when outside the townhome, and must not be left unattended.
• Only 2 pets per townhome are allowed.
• Pets shall not be allowed to create an unreasonable disturbance.
• Dogs should be walked to the designated areas to relieve themselves.  These areas are the parkway on Will Cook Road   (both sides) and the asphalt path North of the Comoy's Northeast units.  
• All animal waste must be removed immediately by the pet's owner regardless of where it occurs.  Animal waste attracts rodents and is a health hazard.
• Decks and patios are not to be used as dog runs.
• No animals shall be kept, bred, or maintained for commercial reasons.
• Excessive damage caused by pets to the landscaping will result in subsequent repair by our landscapers and the cost, including administrative fees, will be billed to the homeowner.
• Repeat violators will face fines by the Association.
