When contracting with Dish or Direct TV, be advised that it is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure that the installation of the dish and outside wiring is done professionally.
In all cases, the dish must:
- Be mounted on the rear side of the building, where it is not visible from the street.
- It is prohibited to mount the dish on privacy fences and posts, poles, or other mounts in the ground, landscaping, or grass.
- Outside, exposed wiring must be taught and properly anchored to meld in with the siding or brick.
- If the service is no longer contracted, or a new provider is used, the homeowner is responsible to have the dish, mounting bracket, and the associated wiring removed.
- Any holes resulting from the removal of the hardware must be repaired with clear silicone caulk to prevent water damage.
- Any leaks or damage to the roof or structure, as a result of a dish or external wiring, is the homeowner's responsibility.
- External TV, radio, and other antennas are strictly prohibited.
- If the Association determines an installation or removal is not up to the required standards, a contractor will be hired to correct the problem, with the cost passed onto the homeowner.
